Good times last night! Thanks to many people for a successful jam. Specifically, Jenni & Shawna of Heirloom Cafe for hosting (and providing beer), Mike Strumpf for leading/judging and Ryan Palmer for taking some pics on his phone.



The session was all about signature beverages and everyone came up with some nice drinks. I was impressed at how each team used the ingredients so differently, yet each with success. Tim from Coda Coffee and Chris from Smith Coffee won the coveted Tal Tack. I don't recall a description of their drink, but I do know the garnish of twenty dollar bills pleased the judge mightily.

The Third Thursday Jams continue gaining momentum. Each month more people show up, each month new relationships are formed and each month area baristas improve. Therefore I am putting the call out to you dear reader to further this momentum: actively promote future jams! I'd love to see more companies represented so make sure to tell your favorite barista (or yourself) to show up to March's jam at Enchanted Grounds.
